About the role
Who we are
You know those big cities that still feel like small towns? Where everyone’s friendly and helps each other out? That’s like Doane Grant Thornton. Except here we’re all professionals and there isn’t a mayor or a general store. What we’re trying to say is that we’re a large and growing professional services firm that still feels like a community. We employ about 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. That’s what’s most important to us. We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.
As the Manager, Business Transformation - AI Enablement, you will be joining the Business Transformation team to support initiatives that are at the forefront of shaping and building the future of our Firm. Your role will be pivotal in executing enterprise AI tool adoption and enablement programs that drive measurable value and an exceptional experience for our clients and colleagues.
You will be a core member of the Firm’s AI Centre of Enablement, partnering closely with People & Culture, Technology, Data, Privacy/Legal, and business leaders. You will act as an enterprise tools adoption and enablement lead—helping translate practical AI opportunities within our core platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Dynamics 365) into rollout plans and day-to-day adoption support that scales responsibly.
This is a Business Transformation role focused on adoption, enablement, and operational governance—not a technical or AI engineering role.
As a Manager, Business Transformation - AI Enablement, your responsibilities will include:
- Enterprise Tools Adoption Roadmap & Release Readiness: Manage the adoption roadmap for enterprise AI capabilities (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365 copilots), including release readiness, sequencing, dependencies, and post-launch reinforcement. Identify opportunities for tool exploration and support business cases through analysis, pilot inputs, and user feedback.
- Scale AI Capabilities: Stay apprised of new AI capabilities being developed across tools. Develop an understanding of the business value and impact on process and workflows to unlock value across the Firm.
- Use Case Discovery & Execution: Partner with business teams to identify high impact use cases and support the design and implementation of solutions.
- Execution & Enablement: Partner with the People & Culture teams to execute adoption plans for enterprise AI tools, including stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and support - ensuring teams can use tools responsibly and effectively in real workflows.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Design the right forums to engage with stakeholders across the organization to gain insights, establish feedback loops, and provide knowledge sharing.
- Adoption & Value Measurement: Define and track success measures, synthesizing insights into clear recommendations.
- Enablement Content & Channels: Create and maintain practical enablement content and support publishing/curation through various channels.
