To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What You'll Be Doing As the Fee-Based Solutions (FBS) Program Management Director, you'll lead the business and product components of the CIBC Private Investment Council (CPIC) Modernization Program within Private Wealth Management. You'll oversee multiple agile product development teams, ensuring their work aligns with the program's strategic objectives. Drawing on your deep experience with brokerage and wealth management platforms, you'll provide guidance and direction to program team members and play a key role in the program delivery leadership team. You'll make strategic decisions, manage program direction, planning, staffing, and financials throughout the program lifecycle. In addition to program delivery, you'll manage the CPIC offer and platform, ensuring it meets client needs, reflects market trends, and supports organizational goals. Your leadership will drive innovative, client-centric investment counsel solutions for high-net-worth clients across all CIBC channels, while fostering long-term relationships and ongoing improvements to the CPIC operating platform. You'll also support enhancements to the W360 Investment Book of Records (IBOR) platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that elevate both client and employee experiences. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $111,060 to $130,000. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program. How You'll Succeed Strategic Program Leadership and Innovation – Develop and execute strategies to grow the CPIC business, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends. Identify and implement innovative investment counsel solutions to enhance the high-net-worth value proposition across all CIBC channels. Technical Business Oversight – Serve as the technical business lead for CPIC enhancements to the W360 platform, ensuring successful delivery of new capabilities. Team Leadership and BAU Management – Lead a team of Business Analysts, Business Systems Analysts, and Consultants to execute business-as-usual program management functions for the integrated suite of applications supporting the CPIC offer. Business Architecture and Solution Design – Support the creation of future state business architecture, including target operating models, business and operational processes, and data migration requirements. Approve software solution design recommendations to ensure alignment with business needs and deliver a best-in-class user experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Change Management – Collaborate with teams across Program Management, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to gain consensus on product roadmaps and execute enhancements. Lead change management initiatives related to transitioning to new integrated applications for onboarding, portfolio management, reporting, and back-office operations. Business Consulting and Information Architecture – Provide leadership and expertise in business consulting and information architecture to ensure excellent client and employee experiences. Who You Are You bring extensive experience. You have more than 10 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on wealth management or business transformation. You’re strategic and experienced in agile development. You excel at developing and executing long-term business strategies that drive growth and competitive positioning, and you have strong knowledge of end-to-end agile development processes including requirements planning, preparation, acceptance, development, and testing. You understand technology and business integration. You have strong knowledge of SaaS solutions, portfolio management applications, and data migration processes. You're a strong communicator. You understand the needs of agile delivery teams and business stakeholders, and can influence senior leaders to drive consensus. You thrive on innovation and continuous improvement. Your analytical and problem-solving skills help you identify opportunities and create strategic proposals for enhancement. You value collaboration. You work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver seamless solutions, and you have the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus through well-thought-out strategic solutions and implementation plans.
