Learn more about working at Ledcor – watch here Essential Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters, concrete finishers / masons and labourers Interface with the client and other contractors on site Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor’s health, safety, and environmental standards Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other forepersons to ensure smooth project execution Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial construction environment preferred Journeyperson Carpenter Strong carpentry and concrete formwork background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing Valid driver's license and clean abstract required Work Conditions: Work schedule: 10 days on, and 4 days off plus statutory holidays off Extended health benefits provided by CLAC LOA / Travel allowance for eligible candidates Location - Fort Saskatchewan AB Weekly payment of wages Additional Information Ledcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
