About the role

Job Description What is the Opportunity? Join RBC as a visionary leader shaping the future of banking in a Digital-First era. As the Senior Manager, Distribution Strategy, you will support the development of distribution and channel strategies for Digital & Personal Distribution (DPD). You will create structured analyses, research and executive materials that inform strategic decisions across physical, digital and remote channels. What will you do? Develop and advance Distribution strategy for Personal Banking, grounded in client needs, economics & market dynamics Develop and maintain sub-strategies (channel, segment, journey, role) to operationalize the vision and guide execution teams. Perform comprehensive strategic reviews and analyses leveraging frameworks, approaches, tools and methodologies and develop robust recommendations to support DPD Leadership Ensure strategies are well developed, articulated and aligned across businesses and with DPD and PB priorities Leverage global peer benchmarks, adjacent industries, fintechs, and emerging distribution models to inform strategy Analyze client and advisor behaviour and market trends to challenge internal assumptions Provide thought leadership on distribution, channels, digitization, productivity and the evolving role of channels Frame strategic options, trade-offs and recommendations for senior leadership on channel roles, investment priorities and pacing of change Proactively, develop fact bases, business cases, and scenario analyses to identify benefits including revenue streams and/or cost savings opportunities Lead work end-to-end exhibiting complete ‘ownership’ of the problem, continuously pushing the thinking, while managing stakeholders, junior team members, timelines, and deliverables What Do You Need to Succeed? 2+ years in corporate strategy, consulting, product strategy, or large-scale transformations within Financial Services. Strong problem structuring, hypothesis-driven thinking and analytical rigor Experience leading strategy workstreams or projects end-to-end including stakeholder alignment and delivery of timelines/outputs Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word Strong analytics business modelling/business case development experience including high-level understanding of Financial Services financial statements Strong written and oral executive presentation skills with presence to build credibility across organization Expertise in Distribution, Channels, or Digital Transformation (preferred) What's in it for you?
