The challenges that await you
You are responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling the execution of activities related to road signage, road marking, technical support, improving methods and procedures for public roads and parks (VPP), as well as ensuring compliance with signage through the application of violation notices.
In this capacity, you participate in establishing orientations, objectives, and programs regarding your area of expertise and in developing the annual objectives of your group, based on the major orientations of the service.
You ensure the management, supervision, and development of operational and technical teams, while ensuring compliance with interventions, operational efficiency, and the quality of service offered to citizens and internal partners.
Working closely with stakeholders from other sectors of your service and other municipal services, you manage a team that ensures:

the development, coordination, and logistics of activities related to road signage and road marking;

the development, coordination, and logistics of operations related to compliance with signage and the application of violation notices;

the definition, recommendation, and implementation of processes and procedures to optimize VPP practices;

the supervision of work execution in full compliance with contract specifications (quality, timelines, etc.);

compliance with various applicable standards (OHS, MTMD, procurement, etc.).
You plan, supervise, and control the activities under your responsibility, recommend and implement measures to optimize the performance of the various activities of your team. Additionally, you participate in various committees to plan operations in your area of activity.
As a member of the management team of the Service, you collaborate for its smooth operation and contribute to achieving the objectives. You participate in assessing the needs for human, material, and financial resources necessary for the proper conduct of the activities for which you are responsible and manage the budgets allocated to you. You submit detailed reports and may be called upon to make presentations regarding the activities for which you are responsible.
The ideal profile for us
- Hold a college degree in civil engineering technology or any other relevant field;
- Have 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, including personnel management;
- Experience in managing unionized personnel is an asset;
- Training on safety on construction sites (ASP construction card);
- Class 5 driver's license.
