JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Procurement (Indirect Sourcing) Associate to join our growing Supply Chain team in the aerospace sector. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of indirect spend categories including professional services, equipment, facility services, and construction, while partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver cost savings, improve supplier performance, and reduce risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities (RFP, RFQ, negotiation, contracting)

  • Manage indirect sourcing categories such as: 

    • Professional Services
    • Facilities & Maintenance
    • Equipment & Tooling
    • Construction and CAPEX/OPEX projects
  • Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance 

  • Conduct competitive bidding, market analysis, and supplier benchmarking 

  • Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and Statements of Work (SOWs) 

  • Build strong vendor relationships and manage supplier performance 

  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Business Units to deliver sourcing solutions 

  • Support the full Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle, including systems and documentation 

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (indirect preferred) 
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or aerospace environments (strong asset) 
  • Proven experience with: 
    • Strategic sourcing & category management
    • Contract negotiation and supplier management
    • RFP/RFQ processes and competitive bidding
  • Ability to manage CAPEX and OPEX procurement projects 
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices and sourcing lifecycle (S2P)
  • Experience with procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Oracle, Ariba or similar) is an asset
