As Quality Leader for all Neuroscience inpatient and outpatient services, this position provides operational leadership across the ambulatory clinics, and the quality program that focuses on excellence in monitoring quality priorities, key performance indicators and issues pertaining to risk management.
Here's What You'll Get To Do
Provide leadership across all aspects of the inpatient unit (5C) and ambulatory clinics(6C) in Neurology and Neurosurgery; monitor financial performance and key performance metrics, support all aspects of human resource management, patient and family centred care. Support process improvement and resource allocation across the inpatient unit and ambulatory clinics Plan, implement and evaluate quality programs Participate in Hospital wide committees Develop protocol/practices that maximize team collaboration, standardized processes, project completion and evaluation Provide leadership in meeting Health Canada Standards
Essential Requirements
Here's What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in related field or other health care related areas. Possess or be actively pursuing a Master's degree (preferred) Relevant experience in leadership, quality management and administrative processes Must have demonstrated project management skills Proven leadership skills and excel in both working with and fostering a team environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Computer proficiency in Windows and aptitude to learn other relevant hospital-based software (Finance, Human Resources, Business Intelligence etc) Demonstrated ability to be highly motivated to take initiative and produce result Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Neuroscience experience preferred
