About the Role: The Customer Development Manager plays a key role in building lasting customer partnerships and driving meaningful business growth. Serving as the primary point of contact for key decision makers, this role leads the sales process from strategy through implementation while developing customized, solution-based programs that meet the unique needs of each customer. This position is ideal for a strategic relationship-builder who thrives on turning opportunities into long-term success. Key Responsibilities: Understand and articulate Swish’s Value Proposition to customers, providing solutions to grow profitable sales. Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers. Maximize revenue for designated account packages by growing sales within existing accounts, expanding customer contacts, and identifying new opportunities. Understand and remain responsive to changing customer needs and objectives. Develop and implement account penetration strategies, including regular business reviews for key customers. Achieve gross margin profit targets and maintain a healthy sales pipeline for forecasting. Maintain customer sales activity in the CRM tool to develop sales plans. Support vendor programs and internal marketing initiatives. Provide written programs and demos as required by customers. Maintain in-depth product knowledge of all Swish lines of business (KLFP, Equipment, and Chemical) to provide effective solutions. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs. Work closely with Business Development Managers to onboard and support new customers. Support branch activities as required, including additional duties that contribute to overall customer service, operational efficiency, and business success. What You Bring: Minimum of 3 years of prior B2B sales experience with a proven track record. Self-motivated, with a desire to achieve goals beyond requirements. Business and financial acumen regarding sales forecasting, opportunity management, and customer planning. Ability to articulate business drivers and understand total cost of ownership concepts. Ability to utilize sales processes to uncover objections and determine appropriate solutions. Proven ability to manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth. End-use market experience (education, healthcare, facilities management, hospitality, or government) is an asset. Demonstrated presentation and communication skills. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Strong computer skills and ability to work with technical concepts.
