Role Description The Community Engagement Coordinator is a full-time, role based in Collingwood, ON. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community members, partner organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness of My Friend's House. Day-to-day tasks include planning and coordinating outreach activities, organizing community events, and supporting campaigns that promote fundraising. The Coordinator will develop and implement engagement strategies, manage communication materials for community initiatives, and represent the organization at events.

Salary for this role is $62,400 and has benefits and vacation.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Community Engagement and Community Outreach skills to build relationships and increase awareness of programs. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including public speaking, active listening, and clear written communication. Candidates should possess Event Planning skills to coordinate community events. Candidates should possess Community Organizing skills to mobilize volunteers, partners, and community members around shared goals. Experience working with community-based or nonprofit organizations is an asset. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience using CanadaHelps is an asset .
