Job Description About the Team The Retail Credit & Climate Risk team is currently around 65 members, with plans to expand in 2027 to meet increased demands. The team is made up of horizontal Developer Leads, Quality Engineering Leads, Program Management, and Product Management teams. They are further defined by Retail Credit Risk and Climate Risk delivery teams. Team culture is highly collaborative, with continuous learning opportunities (with a focus on AI), and leaders operate with a high degree of trust. We are a technology team that is both collaborative and inclusive. Daily Responsibilities Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to keep teams aligned and progressing. Engage in technical discussions with development teams, architects, and stakeholders to understand project complexities and inform delivery decisions. Identify and remove impediments and blockers that impact delivery. Provide status reporting at portfolio and project levels to stakeholders and leadership. Monitor and manage project financials, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Track KPIs and delivery metrics using AI and GenAI tools to proactively identify risks, forecast issues, and optimize performance and resource allocation. Drive process improvements and optimize delivery workflows based on team feedback and performance data. Projects Pathfinder: Ongoing support for Retail Credit Risk model development platform. CREATE Program: Retail Credit Risk code conversion and migration from SAS to Python. Technology & Software Knowledge Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and AI SDLC methodologies and how they apply to technology projects. Jira and Confluence for day-to-day delivery management, tracking progress, and coordinating project activities. Financial management software (e.g., MIS, Planview) for budget tracking, resource allocation, and project cost management. Required Qualifications & Experience Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Certified Scrum Master) and 7+ years of experience delivering software development projects/programs within an Agile environment (medium-to-large scale initiatives). Experience managing the implementation of DevOps, MLOps, or Cloud architecture. Hands-on expertise in Agile delivery frameworks, including milestones, critical paths, product and sprint backlogs, work-back schedules, and release burndown. Advanced proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint) and related methodologies. Manage delivery excellence through effective schedule management, KPI tracking, early warning indicators, proactive risk and issue mitigation, and removal of cross-team dependencies and blockers. Oversee financials and staffing levels to efficiently meet project delivery requirements and track value for effective decision-making. Build and present management-level reporting and leverage AI and advanced analytics tools (including GenAI) to enhance project delivery through automated progress reporting, risk forecasting, and schedule optimization. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to facilitate analytical and technical conversations at multiple levels, listen actively, communicate clearly and concisely, and build strong working relationships across technical and business units to drive collaboration and impact. Promote team accountability and continuous improvement by solving productivity issues and driving joint ownership of results. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience in software development, DevOps, MLOps, or Cloud architecture (a strong plus). Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and enterprise project management tools (Planview, MS Project, Leankit). Knowledge of enterprise technology environments and processes. The expected base salary range for this position is $90 – $97 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements.
