Job Description: Reporting to the VP, Canadian Shared Services, the Program Manager acts as a strategic partner and is responsible for enabling the effective execution of strategic and operational priorities across the function. The role requires strong program coordination, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with the VP and leadership team, the Program Manager coordinates key programs and initiatives, supports leadership forums and communications, and ensures deliverables are executed on time. The role connects teams across Canadian Shared Services to drive alignment, monitor progress, and support disciplined follow-through. Strategic & Business Management Support What this means: highlights the “right hand to leadership” support – it’s anchored around enabling Canadian Shared Service LT to run the business effectively Enable leadership team execution of strategy by developing plans, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment across priorities Lead and manage annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring prioritization, coordination, tracking and documentation across leadership teams Provide business management support to ensure leaders are aligned on strategy, messaging, and operating principles Act as a trusted partner to leaders, helping translate strategy into actionable plans and decisions Enable alignment across Ins Ops leaders and teams by connecting priorities, sharing insights, and driving coordinated execution Operational Performance, Data & Insights What this means: how to bring clarity and discipline to the business Develop and manage key management operating system elements (e.g., scorecards, dashboards, monitoring tools) Track and analyze business performance data to support decision-making and identify opportunities/issues Provide insights that help leadership assess progress against goals and adjust plans as needed Communications & Engagement What this means: bringing leadership voice and clarity across the org Develop and execute internal communications strategies to inform and engage teams and stakeholders Develop senior leadership messaging in “the voice of” the leader, including preparation for speaking engagements (drafting speaking notes that the leader can personalize) Ensure consistent messaging aligned to strategy, priorities, and leadership direction Support leadership in delivering clear communications across the organization (email comms, Engage posts, etc.) Contribute to consistent reporting and governance practices that strengthen visibility, alignment, and execution across initiatives. Business Initiatives & Project Leadership What this means: this is about making things happen Lead and/or support business initiatives in various capacities Ensure initiatives align to broader strategy and deliver intended business outcomes (work closely with STBP on alignment) Provide structure, coordination, and execution support across a portfolio of priorities Leadership Enablement & Governance What this means: it’s about being the “engine behind leadership effectiveness” —aligned to real day-to-day. Support the VP and leadership team by coordinating priorities, governance activities, decision-support materials, and follow-up actions. Translate leadership direction into structured plans, communications, and execution mechanisms that enable organizational follow-through. What You Need to Succeed As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide. Experience working in project management functions or relevant experience Highly organized and able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives and deadlines for various stakeholders Strong and effective relationship builder with the ability to influence across boundaries Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to summarize and present in a clear and concise manner to executive-level audiences Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement mindset Self-starter, takes initiative and has a desire to probe and solution Ability to work in ambiguous situations and with limited process definition or documentation Ability to adapt to change and pivot quickly with changing priorities Ability to manage through influence and collaborate to achieve goals University or College degree or post-secondary education Knowledge of the Group Benefits or Health industry is an asset What’s in for for you ? The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
