About the role

About Allied Allied is a leading owner-operator of distinctive urban workspace in Canada’s major cities. Our work is grounded in a clear purpose: to provide knowledge-based organizations with distinctive urban environments that support creativity, connectivity and human wellness. Our vision is more expansive. We seek to make a continuous contribution to cities and culture that elevates and inspires the humanity in all of us. This vision informs how we operate, how we design and how we lead. Real estate, for us, is not a passive investment. It is a profoundly human endeavour, one that must promote wellness, sustainability, diversity and creativity—today and for generations to come. Allied is also a place to build a career of consequence. If you are looking for work that is thoughtful, tangible and enduring—work that contributes meaningfully to cities and the people who inhabit them—you will find purpose here. Purpose Drive the execution of Allied’s AI and Data Strategy by translating an established foundation into a coordinated, scalable, and results-driven enterprise program. As the Senior Manager, Data Strategy and Technology Transformation, you will lead the delivery of data, AI, and technology initiatives, ensuring they are effectively prioritized, governed, and implemented to generate measurable business value. Reporting to the Vice President, Technology, you will partner across business, Technology, Cybersecurity, and external partners to advance practical use cases from concept to production, while strengthening data governance, improving adoption, and enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibility AI and Data Strategy Execution: Lead the program forward from the foundation already established. Own and maintain the AI and Data Strategy roadmap, priorities, milestones, and delivery plan. Bring data, AI, automation, and technology innovation initiatives into one coordinated program. Track use cases, risks, dependencies, decisions, adoption, and business value. Provide clear progress updates and recommendations to senior leadership. Data Strategy and Governance: Strengthen the enterprise data foundation. Partner with the Data Solutions Architect to mature data models, reporting structures, governance standards, and platform direction. Identify and help resolve data quality, ownership, access, and lifecycle issues. Support practical governance practices that improve confidence in enterprise data. Ensure data initiatives are usable, sustainable, and aligned to business needs. AI and Technology Innovation: Deliver practical, governed solutions. Partner with the Manager, Enterprise Transformation to advance AI use cases, adoption, and business engagement. Support the intake, assessment, delivery, and scaling of AI-enabled and automation solutions. Help reduce unmanaged or shadow AI by creating clear pathways for approved experimentation and adoption. Evaluate new tools and vendors while balancing innovation, security, privacy, and operational fit. Program Governance and Delivery: Create structure without unnecessary bureaucracy. Define and maintain the operating model for use case intake, prioritization, approval, delivery, measurement, and retirement. Clarify roles, accountabilities, and decision points across business, Technology, Cybersecurity, and vendor teams. Maintain visibility into intelligent tools, platform access, permissions, and solution lifecycle controls. Ensure new solutions are introduced in a controlled, documented, and supportable way. Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Align people around one strategy. Lead, coach, and support the Data Solutions Architect and Manager, Technology Transformation. Build on the work already completed and help the team operate as one integrated function. Translate technical roadmaps into plain-language business cases, updates, and decisions. Manage vendor relationships and hold partners accountable for delivery, quality, timelines, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications Must have: 7+ years of experience in data, AI, technology transformation, digital innovation, enterprise platforms, or related roles. Experience leading or coordinating data, AI, automation, analytics, or technology-enabled transformation initiatives. At least 2 years of people leadership, team lead, or program leadership experience. Strong ability to execute an existing strategy, improve it where needed, and move work forward without unnecessary reset. Strong practical knowledge of data is required, including data governance, data quality, access management, reporting, integration, and platform lifecycle concepts. Experience working with senior business stakeholders and translating technical work into business outcomes. Strong vendor management, communication, prioritization, and delivery management skills.
