About the role

Role Description The Bilingual Marketing Lead and Event Coordinator is a full-time, remote and on-site role based in the Greater Moncton Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion, including managing timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, and on-site logistics. The position also leads marketing initiatives, such as developing promotional plans, coordinating social media and email campaigns, and creating bilingual marketing content to drive event attendance and brand awareness. Day-to-day tasks include client communication, proposal and report preparation, event design support, coordination of suppliers and partners, and monitoring performance metrics for both events and marketing activities. The role requires active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, attendance at events for on-site management, and flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules. Qualifications Strong bilingual communication skills (English and French) with the ability to create and deliver clear, engaging marketing and event-related content. Experience in event planning and coordination, including venue selection, supplier management, on-site execution, and guest experience design. Marketing and branding skills, such as campaign planning, social media management, email marketing, and basic content creation for web and print. Organizational and project management abilities, including multitasking, prioritization, budget tracking, and meeting tight deadlines. Client service and relationship-building skills, with a focus on understanding client goals and translating them into successful event and marketing strategies. Comfort with digital tools and platforms (e.g., office productivity software, social media, email marketing systems, and basic design tools). Ability to work on site in the Atlantic Canada area, including availability for occasional evenings and weekends for events. Previous experience in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field; post-secondary education in marketing, communications, event management, or business is an asset.
