Infinite Outsourcing Solutions is hiring a Director of Operations on behalf of our client, a leading organization in the visual communications, large-format printing, signage, and manufacturing industry. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced operations professional who thrives in fast-paced production environments and has a proven track record of driving operational excellence, profitability, and business growth.

About the Role Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Operations will lead all aspects of manufacturing, production, project management, procurement, installation logistics, quality assurance, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing operational performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting long-term organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business growth and profitability goals. Lead daily operations across production, project management, procurement, logistics, installation, and customer service functions. Establish KPIs, departmental objectives, and accountability measures. Provide leadership and mentorship to department managers and operational teams. Drive cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence across the organization. Identify operational risks and recommend strategic improvements.

Production & Manufacturing Management Oversee large-format print production, fabrication, finishing, and assembly operations. Optimize production scheduling, resource utilization, and manufacturing workflows. Implement Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity and profitability. Monitor production capacity and operational performance metrics.

Project & Installation Management Ensure successful execution of customer projects from order intake through installation. Coordinate project timelines with production, account management, and installation teams. Oversee subcontractors, site logistics, and installation planning. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

Financial & Supply Chain Management Manage operational budgets, labor planning, and departmental performance. Monitor production costs, margins, overtime, waste, and profitability. Lead procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships. Negotiate vendor agreements and ensure supply chain efficiency.

Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement Establish and maintain quality control standards and SOPs. Lead productivity, safety, and operational improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications Required Experience 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience. 5+ years in a senior management role overseeing manufacturing, production, or operational teams. Experience within one or more of the following industries: Large-Format Printing Signage & Visual Communications Commercial Print Display & Exhibit Manufacturing Architectural Graphics Custom Fabrication

Industry Knowledge Strong understanding of large-format printing technologies, production workflows, and finishing processes. Knowledge of substrates including ACM, acrylic, PVC/Sintra, foam board, fabric, aluminum, and specialty materials. Familiarity with installation logistics, project management, and manufacturing economics. Experience with estimating, production costing, and capacity planning.

Leadership & Technical Skills Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong financial acumen and budget management experience. Experience with ERP, MIS, CRM, and production management systems. Excellent strategic planning, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills. Strong understanding of operational KPIs, forecasting, and business reporting.

Preferred Qualifications Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PMP, or related operational certifications. Experience managing multi-site operations. Experience scaling operations within a high-growth environment.
