As a Content Marketing Co-op, you will help support the TurboTax Canada blog while working in collaboration with Brand, Marketing, SEO, Web Operations, and Content teams. In this role, you'll help keep content accurate, relevant, and up to date with changes in tax policy, personal finance, and current events. You'll act as a project coordinator to ensure content is planned, published, optimized, and maintained effectively.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Lead content briefing operations across articles, videos, and thumbnails, developing clear, detailed, and research-backed briefs that enable creators to produce high-quality content. For blog articles, conduct research to ensure briefs contain accurate, relevant, and valuable information. Manage the end-to-end publishing process for Content Hub, including content reviews, quality assurance, translation coordination, SEO/GEO/AIO optimization, metadata creation (English and French), URL management, website compatibility checks, CTA optimization, and content recommendations. Partner with Web Operations and Product teams while overseeing the publishing workflow from briefing through launch. Maintain and optimize existing Content Hub content to improve SEO/GEO/AIO performance, user engagement, content freshness, and overall visual appeal. Manage content updates and corrections to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance with evolving tax policies, fiscal regulations, and annual legislative changes. Support weekly or biweekly editorial meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to identify content opportunities related to social trends, current events, and financial news. Collaborate with the Media team on content syndication efforts, monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze results, and provide recommendations to optimize media investment and content distribution strategies. Partner cross-functionally across marketing teams to identify new opportunities for results-driven content promotion, distribution, and audience growth. Coordinate cross-brand content partnerships and collaborative initiatives to expand reach and engagement. Provide occasional support on broader Brand team initiatives, campaigns, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Highly organized with strong attention to detail. You take pride in doing executional work correctly the first time Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate proactively when deadlines or deliverables are at risk Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging content and clear creative briefs. Excellent project management, organization, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. A creative mindset with a strong eye for content, visuals, user experience, and audience engagement. Strong presentation, leadership, and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams. Familiarity with SEO/GEO/AIO, content optimization, digital publishing, and content management best practices. Understanding and knowledge of AI and how to optimize workflow with AI Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to review content quality, interpret performance data, and identify opportunities for improvement. Working knowledge of productivity tools (eg. Excel, Sheets, Airtable, CODA, Wrike, etc.) Strong interest in current events, social trends, business, personal finance, and the Canadian market. Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, conduct research, generate insights, and build simple automations or solutions. Nice to Have
Knowledge of Canadian fiscal policy, macroeconomics, and global economic trends, with a strong commitment to staying informed on current developments. Experience with CMS platforms (eg. GWP or Wordpress), editorial operations, content marketing, or digital media. Experience with content syndication, media analytics, paid media, or performance reporting. Basic coding skills or experience using AI-assisted development tools. Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency, with experience interpreting data, generating insights, and making data-driven recommendations using tools (eg. Google Analytics, Tableau, FullStory) Working proficiency in French, with the ability to review translated content for grammatical accuracy, spelling, clarity, and overall quality.
Eligibility Requirements
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program with a graduation date at least 3 months after the co-op ends. Available for an 8-month co-op work term, from September 2026 - April 2027, for 40 hours per week Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the co-op term, without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. Ability to work in our Toronto office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
