Position Highlights

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Business Solutions to lead the planning, delivery, and ongoing management of Corporate Business Solutions across Finance, HR, and other corporate functions. In this role, you’ll act as the primary interface between ISD and Corporate Function partners, ensuring technology strategies, application services, and delivery practices enable business outcomes, operational stability, and cost-effective service delivery.

You will provide technology leadership to support Corporate Function business planning, guide long-term solution direction, and ensure the effective end-to-end delivery and operation of enterprise applications aligned to corporate function priorities.

Key Accountabilities

Business Partnership & Strategy Acts as the single point of contact into ISD for Corporate Function divisions (Finance, HR, and others), aligning technology priorities with business strategy and operational needs. Represents the Corporate Function perspective within ISD to ensure technology changes are practical, well-adopted, and minimize disruption to operations. Provides technology leadership and advisory support for Corporate Function planning, investment decisions, and transformation initiatives. Contributes to divisional and enterprise strategic, tactical, and operational plans.

Delivery & Value Enablement Facilitates the delivery of business capabilities through effective use of technology and coordinated, end-to-end delivery practices. Oversees the delivery of Corporate Business Solutions from design through to implementation, ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture and business outcomes. Drives prioritization across the Corporate Function portfolio, balancing value, risk, and capacity. Ensures integration of delivery practices with related business and IT processes.

Application Services & Operations Ensures reliable, efficient, and secure operation of Corporate Function applications supporting critical business functions (e.g., Claims, Insurance etc.). Supports a diverse user base and a broad application landscape, maintaining performance, stability, and responsiveness. Drives continuous improvement of service quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency. Ensures effective support models for end users and ongoing sustainment of applications.

Leadership & Governance Leads and develops a high-performing team of IT professionals, including employees, contractors, and vendors. Manages vendor relationships and external service providers to deliver quality outcomes Ensures alignment with corporate strategy, governance frameworks, and enterprise architecture standards. Oversees operational planning, budgeting, and resource management. Advances continuous improvement, modernization, and innovation across Corporate Business Solutions.

Job Requirements Extensive experience delivering and operating enterprise applications aligned to business outcomes (typically 10–12+ years). Strong leadership background managing teams, vendors, and complex portfolios. Expertise in enterprise IT, including architecture, delivery, and operations. Solid understanding of corporate business functions (e.g., Finance, HR) and related processes. Knowledge of enterprise architecture, project/portfolio management, and service delivery frameworks. Strategic thinking with a focus on execution and operational outcomes. Strong business and technology partnership leadership. Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders. Leadership capability to build and develop high-performing teams. Focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence. Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Work arrangements defined: Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
