Position Summary The Maintenance Manager oversees department staff and coordinates the day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance department to ensure all work requests are completed promptly and efficiently. This role is responsible for performing and supervising a wide range of maintenance activities within a cold storage warehouse environment, including the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing maintenance of facility equipment. All work is carried out in accordance with company standards to support business goals and operational objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities Multi-site Leadership: Oversee and build high performing Maintenance Department teams across all warehouse facilities, including hiring and training/developing site technicians and maintenance supervisors for a solid bench strength of talent. Asset Management: Maintain material handling equipment, conveyors, sorters, and forklifts. Preventative Maintenance: Implement and monitor CMMS tracking for predictive equipment upkeep. Facility Care: Oversee building envelopes, HVAC, dock doors, plumbing, and electrical systems. Capital Projects: Plan and execute facility upgrades, expansions, and equipment installations. Support management, project managers, consultants, and cross‑functional teams as required. Participate in building maintenance planning for new construction, renovations, and upgrades to existing systems. Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, local building codes, and fire regulations, proactively identify and address safety concerns and determine appropriate work methods. Adhere to and enforce departmental procedures and systems, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), maintenance requisitions, scheduled work, and continuous improvement/risk management programs. Documentation: Ensure completion of all required departmental reports, documentation, and maintenance records. Vendor Relations: Scheduling and overseeing of on-site vendors and contractors Uptime Optimization: Analyze equipment failure data to root out recurring operational bottlenecks.

Qualifications and Skills Completion of a certified trade is an asset Minimum of ten years’ experience in maintenance with five (5) years’ in a supervisory capacity across multiple sites. Proven experience managing projects across multiple sites. Working experience in cold storage, warehousing or food manufacturing is an asset Working knowledge of occupational health & safety, HACCP and CFIA regulations is an asset Ability to read and interpret technical manuals Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated A friendly, positive, and professional attitude

Schedule 8.5 hour day shift Monday to Friday

Language Requirements French not required

Location & Work Arrangement Mississauga & Halton Hills, Ontario Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting On-site position, five days per week with travel between sites, as required.
