Rotation/Shifts

Salary Range $97,301.10 - $118,378.65/Annually

Basic Requirements

Completion of three (3)-year Community College in Paramedicine, or equivalent, or in a related field; Minimum of 3 years experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic or equivalent, with demonstrated competency in pre-hospital clinical care; Minimum three (3) years of experience working for a Paramedic service of pre hospital setting; Current related experience pertinent to QA/QI, education, and pre-hospital care. Experience in the development of course content/curriculum, project management and in the delivery of educational material to adult learners. Respond to numerous simultaneous demands from paramedics, office staff, management, etc. Demonstrates ability to adjust to new and unexpected events and strive to undertake all activities in an efficient and effective manner; Identify potential for patient or institutional risk and provide recommendations for appropriate intervention; Provide accurate, relevant, and timely information as required; Be an effective change agent and in working effectively with all members of health care team, such as paramedics, clinical managers, physicians, health professionals, and educators; Develop and deliver presentations and abstract submissions, program proposals and written reports. Contribute to clinical standards that improve quality of care in a fiscally responsible manner; Advanced knowledge of software applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet resources, audio-visual equipment, etc; Organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills required for successful group leadership. Proven ability in working effectively with members of health care team (i.e. managers, physicians, health professionals, and educators). Initiative and Independence of action is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of four (4)-year undergraduate degree in Paramedicine, Health Sciences, or related field; Master's degree in science, Healthcare, Quality, Education, or related field; Presentation skills including knowledge of computer software, multimedia tools, abstract submission, program proposal and report writing; Knowledge of current trends and legislation pertaining to the delivery of pre-hospital care and emergency health services; Evidence of leadership and facilitator/coaching skills.
