Job Description and Responsibilities Join InterPro Pipe & Steel as a Roller, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes while driving efficiency and quality. Positioned at the heart of our production floor, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, fostering growth and innovation within the company. Shift supervisor duties including payroll submissions, ensuring all safety and quality procedures are being followed, general employee supervision Operation and control of 80” Hot Strip Rolling Mill and monitoring systems Conducting quality inspections of steel coils and plate Follow all rolling practices and procedures to ensure highest quality product Accountable to make improvements or corrections in line with the performance measures relative to the goals of the Rolling Mill Operational troubleshooting Coordinate and lead the Rolling Mill workforce to ensure safe work practices and product quality standards are met Requirements A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education Previous experience in steel rolling mill is considered an asset Previous experience supervising others in a heavy industrial setting Commitment to high standards of safety is imperative Mechanically inclined Communication and teamwork skills Willing to work various schedules, 12-hour shifts, days/ night shifts in 24/7 facility Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
