McCarthy?s Roofing is a trusted name in commercial and residential roofing, known for quality workmanship, safety, and service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our accounting team.

Position Summary

The Project Manager supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of commercial roofing projects from start to finish. Working closely with senior project managers, site supervisors, estimators, suppliers, and clients, this role helps ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and coordination of commercial roofing projects
• Support Crews with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation
• Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and labour requirements
• Communicate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and field crews
• Track project progress and help resolve scheduling or operational issues
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Assist with project cost tracking and reporting
• Support health and safety initiatives on all assigned projects
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates to management
• Ensure projects meet company standards, timelines, and client expectations

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Project Management, or related field preferred
• 1?3 years of construction or project coordination experience considered an asset
• Experience in commercial roofing or construction is an asset
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with project management software is considered an asset
• Understanding of construction drawings and specifications is an asset
• Valid driver?s license and ability to travel to job sites
