Role Description For: Construction Superintendent

The Construction Lead will be responsible for ensuring construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project quality, schedule, and operational objectives. Acting as the primary construction representative within the Owner’s Representative team, the role will oversee contractor performance, site logistics, contractor coordination, quality management, and health & safety compliance throughout the construction lifecycle.

Scope & Delivery Management Assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules across planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities. Support progress tracking and programme updates against approved project baselines. Assist with monitoring milestone achievement and schedule performance. Support the review of contractor schedules and programme submissions. Assist in identifying critical path activities and potential schedule risks.

Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Construction Teams, Commercial Teams, and contractor planning teams. Participate in planning meetings, programme reviews, and project coordination workshops. Support communication of schedule updates and project milestones to stakeholders. Assist with gathering programme inputs from multiple project disciplines. Help facilitate understanding of project schedules across the project team.

Reporting & Documentation Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly schedule reports. Maintain programme records, progress updates, action logs, and planning trackers. Support preparation of look-ahead schedules and milestone reports. Assist in producing project presentations and planning dashboards. Ensure planning documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with project standards
