About the role

LyricFind is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our Product team. This role will primarily focus on Rotor Videos, our video creation platform for the music industry, while also providing opportunities to contribute to other LyricFind product initiatives.

Rotor helps artists, labels, distributors, and music companies turn songs into professional video assets in minutes. Instead of hiring an editor or working with complex video software, users can upload a track, choose a style, and generate release-ready music videos, lyric videos, Spotify Canvas, Apple Music Album Motion, art tracks, and social clips. Rotor is built specifically for music, supporting the needs of release campaigns, back catalogue promotion, and platform-ready video formats. For partners and distributors, the platform can also be integrated directly into their ecosystems, making video creation scalable across large catalogues.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work at the intersection of music, video, licensing, data, technology, and customer experience. You will help run the day-to-day product process for Rotor, working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and other internal teams to deliver improvements that support our users and business goals.

As an Associate Product Manager, you will report to the Product Lead and help turn product strategy into clear execution. You will support roadmap delivery, create and manage tickets, participate in daily standups, review the Rotor product experience for opportunities, and help ensure that product priorities are clearly communicated and moving forward.

Location / Work Arrangement

  • This is a hybrid role based at LyricFind’s office at 40 Eglinton Avenue East, with employees expected to work in-office four days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the day-to-day product management of Rotor, helping keep priorities, tickets, requirements, and delivery timelines organized.
  • Work closely with the Product Lead to help achieve assigned roadmap goals and product initiatives.
  • Create, refine, and manage product tickets, including user stories, acceptance criteria, supporting details, and follow-up items.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, prioritization discussions, and delivery coordination.
  • Work with Engineering and Design to clarify requirements, confirm expected behaviour, identify dependencies, and support delivery.
  • Review Rotor regularly to identify opportunities for product enhancements, usability improvements, workflow improvements, and potential bugs.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from users, partners, internal teams, customer service, sales, and business stakeholders.
  • Help evaluate new product ideas by forming hypotheses, gathering data, and assessing customer and business value.
  • Support product launches by helping coordinate documentation, stakeholder communication, release planning, QA follow-up, and post-launch analysis.
  • Track product performance using KPIs, customer feedback, usage data, and business outcomes.
  • Help keep teams unblocked by making sure requirements, priorities, and next steps are clear.
  • Build a strong understanding of Rotor’s users, including artists, labels, distributors, and music companies creating video assets at scale.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, project coordination, implementation, customer success, operations, QA, or a similar role.
  • A strong interest in product management and building useful, scalable digital products.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and turning unclear problems into clear next steps.
  • Ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A user-first approach to product development, supported by research, feedback, and data.
  • A solid understanding of Agile product development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to dig into details.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
  • Curiosity about music technology, video creation, creator tools, and platform products.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on video, creator tools, media technology, music technology, SaaS, marketplace, platform, or B2B products.
  • Experience working with APIs, technical documentation, partner integrations, or platform products.
  • Experience writing tickets, user stories, acceptance criteria, product briefs, QA notes, or release documentation.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Metabase, or similar tools.
  • Experience reviewing digital products and identifying usability issues, workflow friction, bugs, or enhancement opportunities.
  • Basic understanding of software development workflows, QA, release planning, and technical trade-offs.
  • Familiarity with video formats used across music and social platforms, such as lyric videos, Spotify Canvas, Apple Music Album Motion, art tracks, short-form clips, or music videos.
