Position Summary

BMAC Technologies and Consulting Inc. (BMACTC) is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and a minimum of 5 years of experience in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for building systems. The successful candidate will oversee and manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects from design development through construction completion while ensuring high-quality standards, client satisfaction, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and electrical engineering projects for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and communication between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Perform and review mechanical and electrical load calculations and system designs.
• Review AutoCAD and Revit drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct project reviews for completeness, accuracy, and quality assurance at various stages of development.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with architects, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits, field reviews, and prepare detailed observation reports during construction phases.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during construction and project implementation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development activities including proposals and client meetings.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for building systems.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Solid understanding of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), BC Building Code, and relevant mechanical and plumbing codes.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, methods, standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams and manage coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Additional pay :

Bonus pay

Pay: $110,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
