Day to Day

The Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering integrations across multiple functions and providing transparency to align diverse teams with the primary business goals. The Senior Manager’s alignment of priorities across teams prevents operational friction and complexity from stalling deal momentum. They act as the primary catalyst for delivering complex business priorities on schedule in a manner that sets the business up for long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Supports execution of integrations across acquisitions to ensure alignment with deal objectives and value realization, partnering with Corporate Development and functional teams to ensure continuity from diligence through execution.
  • Translates diligence insights into actionable integration plans with clear owners, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Owns defined workstreams or components within integrations and drives progress against key milestones.
  • Coordinates across functions including Finance, HR, IT, Operations, and Commercial to ensure aligned execution and maintain forward momentum.
  • Establishes and maintains integration governance rhythms including workstream cadences, reporting, and escalation paths.
  • Tracks progress against synergy targets, Day 1 readiness, and Day 100 priorities, providing structured and accurate reporting to leadership.
  • Identifies execution risks early and supports resolution before they impact timelines or value, while contributing to the development and continuous improvement of integration playbooks, tools, and best practices.

Skills/Competencies

  • Requires a minimum of 14 years of related experience; or a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience.
  • Experience in corporate operations, strategy, M&A, or integrations, including supporting integration, transformation, or complex program delivery initiatives.
  • Execution-focused, with the ability to drive progress within defined scope and direction and translate strategic objectives into structured, actionable plans.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and align partners without direct authority.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and support timely resolution, applying sound business judgment to surface trade-offs and support decision making.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and bring structure to complex situations, while balancing detailed execution with broader business objectives.
  • Organizational and project management skills with attention to detail, along with clear and concise communication to leadership and a collaborative mindset focused on accountability and team alignment.

Salary Range Transparency

Tier 2 - Canada 133,000 - 199,000 CAD per year
