Title: SAP IS-U Billing Lead Duration: 16+ months Location: Toronto, ON/Onsite Job ID: S2V65V
Responsibilities Lead the overall SAP IS-U Billing workstream throughout the project lifecycle. Configure and optimize billing and invoicing processes in accordance with business and regulatory requirements. Ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream SAP modules and third-party systems. Drive solution quality through design governance, testing support, and production readiness. Oversee billing migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery. Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Experience Required: 8–10+ years of SAP IS-U Billing leadership experience Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP IS-U Billing implementations in the Utilities domain
Required Skills: Own the end-to-end SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing solution: Rate design (schemas, operands, variants) Time-of-Use (TOU) and interval billing Billing adjustments Invoice generation Compliance with tariffs and regulatory requirements Lead integration between SAP IS-U Billing: Device Management (DM) Energy Data Management (EDM) FI-CA CRM/Customer Service (CRM/CS) Output Management Govern solution architecture and technical delivery by conducting: Design reviews Performance optimization Error handling strategies Billing controls and validation Manage the complete project lifecycle, including: Solution Design Build System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Cutover and Go-Live Prioritize project backlog and defect resolution while coordinating cross-functional teams. Plan and execute: Data migration validation Parallel bill runs Billing reconciliation activities
Nice-to-Have Skills Experience leading large-scale SAP IS-U Billing transformation programs for utility organizations. Strong knowledge of regulatory billing compliance, tariff configuration, and complex utility billing scenarios. Experience managing offshore/onshore delivery teams, vendors, and multiple project workstreams.
