Where You’ll Work
We are seeking candidates located close to Fredericton, New Brunswick area or the Halifax, Nova Scotia area to support a hybrid work model with in-person collaboration as needed. Candidates outside of the Fredericton area may be required to travel occasionally to support team collaboration and meetings.
What You Will Do
Luminultra is recruiting a Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional change management projects, partnering with teams in a highly collaborative environment, to deliver results. This role requires strong communication, influence, and a self-directed approach to managing work and driving initiatives forward. Your initial focus will include change requests, product changes, continuous improvement initiatives, and commercialization projects. This role offers the opportunity to expand scope and responsibility based on performance and impact. This position offers a base salary range of $55,000-70,000 CAD depending on experience.
As a Project Manager, you will support key organizational objectives and have key responsibilities such as:
- Lead change management projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring timelines, scope, and objectives are met
- Coordinate and synthesize input across multiple departments to support effective decision-making and alignment
- Maintain project momentum by actively managing stakeholder engagement, communication, and follow-up actions
- Communicate project updates, decisions, and changes clearly and consistently to both internal teams and external stakeholders or customers
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues early, and proactively develop and implement practical mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and key milestones to support successful execution
- Track progress against deliverables and ensure accountability across contributing teams
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive alignment and resolve issues
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance project delivery effectiveness
- Ensure proper documentation of project decisions, changes, and outcomes for transparency and knowledge sharing
- Support change adoption by helping teams understand and transition to new processes, systems, or ways of working
Who You Are
You’re a driven, self-motivated professional who values ownership and accountability. You thrive in environments with ambiguity, communicate clearly and effectively, and bring a collaborative approach. Additionally, you bring skills and experience such as:
- Up to 2 years of experience in a project coordination or project management role, with a desire to take on greater ownership and build independence in their next role
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and influence across teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability to support and drive initiatives through to completion in a structured and timely manner
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate input from multiple stakeholders into clear actions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently engage both internal and external audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with guidance, while staying aligned to team objectives and deadlines
- High attention to detail with a willingness to learn and grow in a project-driven environment.
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; exposure to project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com)
- Experience working in an organization with ISO 9001 Quality Management
- Project Management Professional certification (or formal project management training).
