How would you like to join a leading specialty hardware company in North America, publicly traded and continuously growing for 50 years?

We are looking to fill a permanent Customs Compliance Specialist position at our Ville Saint-Laurent offices.

Reporting to the Logistics Director, your role will include carrying out all required activities to ensure compliance with customs operations in Canada and the United States. You will act as a resource person for customs compliance and provide support to the teams.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of this position are to:

• Ensure the compliance of import and export operations by following internal processes and U.S. and Canadian regulations.
• Take charge of projects, analyze new products, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create reports, update and optimize compliance procedures.
• Act as the resource person for customs compliance and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Hold a diploma in logistics or a related field;
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position;
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, AS/400, and knowledge of various databases;
• Bilingualism, both written and spoken, in French and English;
• Hold a CSS certification;
• Have strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. customs regulations.
