Supply Chain Manager Location: Montreal (in-person) | Type: Full-time | Salary: CAD $100,000–$150,000
Our client is a growing, venture-backed consumer products company in a regulated sector. Demand is climbing, and they're hiring their first dedicated operations lead to take full ownership of getting product made, moved, and delivered.
The role You'll run the entire operational chain - buying, stock, production planning, freight, and delivery to the end customer.
What you'll do Source and qualify suppliers, build in redundancy, and negotiate better unit costs Untangle customs and duties on international orders; hold logistics partners to firm performance targets Bring delivery cost per order down while volumes go up Put stock-management and purchasing systems in place, including batch and shelf-life tracking Report the numbers leadership needs: stock on hand, true landed cost, order pipeline Work alongside the production team on scheduling and materials
What you bring Sole accountability for supply chain and fulfilment at a physical product company - you owned it, end to end Proven scaling experience at an early-stage company Deep import/export knowledge: duties, customs brokerage, importer-of-record structures A track record in a regulated category such as medical devices, food, wellness, or personal care Equal command of strategy and execution, from vendor negotiations to urgent shipment problems
