This position has a direct responsibility for the complete life cycle management and accountability of all consulting service type projects in their portfolio ensuring compliance to our project management policies, standards, and procedures. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Manage all phases of application and data implementation projects from initiation to closure while leveraging best PM practice standards and processes. Develop detailed project plans, identify resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, project schedules, estimates, and resource plans. Create project deliverables that meet/exceed the project sponsor's specified expectations. Engage project stakeholders and communicate project updates to ensure buy in and project success (examples: meetings, status updates). Successfully manage project changes, risks, issues and actions. Work with sales to ensure projects are properly scoped. Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Work with consulting team to ensure they have all the information to perform assigned tasks on schedule. Report project status, roadblocks and milestones to the project stakeholder and sponsors throughout the course of the project. Other duties as required. ABOUT THE CANDIDATE Qualifications & Experience PMP certification Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience in technology organizations. Experience working in a consulting organization handling multiple medium to large technical projects simultaneously Experience in legal sector a definite asset. Experience working with document management systems implementation is an asset. Personal Traits · Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity · Ability to hold team accountable to ensure projects stay on budget through good planning and organizational skills · Proactive individual that is detail oriented and can quickly identify and manage project risks or potential roadblocks. · Excellent Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required for various interactions with internal and external clients · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting customer expectations · Excellent team management and collaboration skills · High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, and facts · Dedicated contributor with a high level of energy and enthusiasm who strives to excel · Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision · Demonstrate drive, passion and flexibility · Prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.
