THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a strategic, data-savvy Product Manager to drive innovation and guide the evolution of oolu’s technology platform. In this role, you’ll own the full product lifecycle, from uncovering user needs and analyzing market trends to shaping the roadmap and optimizing platform engagement. You’ll refine monetization strategies, deliver actionable insights to inform marketing and brand-building efforts, and ensure oolu’s solutions strike the perfect balance between technical excellence and business impact. Your ability to translate complex data into clear priorities will be key to reducing development risks and delivering products that delight users and fuel growth. You will be the primary point of contact for the development team, managing priorities, technical requirements, and day-to-day product delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Insights & User Experience Conduct user research and usability testing to improve the customer experience and validate product enhancements. Gather customer feedback and platform insights to identify pain points and recommend product improvements.
Product Development & Delivery Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, managing priorities, technical requirements, and day-to-day product delivery. Own the product roadmap, backlog, sprint planning, and feature prioritization to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs. Lead feature testing and quality assurance, leveraging tools such as Claude Code and other AI-assisted development technologies to accelerate product development and delivery.
Product Analytics & Business Intelligence Monitor key product and business metrics, providing insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Analyze user behaviour, engagement, monetization, and platform performance to drive continuous improvement.
Go-to-Market & Product Marketing Partner with Marketing to refine product positioning, messaging, pricing, and product launches. Develop product documentation, demonstrations, and sales enablement materials to support customer acquisition and adoption.
Product Operations Coordinate cross-functional execution of the product roadmap while managing backlogs, releases, and product documentation. Utilize tools such as Jira, PostHog, Stripe, Metabase, Claude Code, design platforms, and other technologies to support product development and operational excellence.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes:
Education Post secondary education in business, marketing, or equivalent education/certification in product management is required.
Experience 2-4 years of product management experience in the technology sector, with strong technical acumen. Proven ability to lead the full product lifecycle using agile methodologies, from concept to launch and optimization. Expert in user research, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making to guide product strategy. Skilled in cross-functional collaboration to align development, design, and marketing teams around shared goals.
Technology and Application Knowledge Strong technical acumen and understanding of software development processes. Expertise in product lifecycle management and agile methodologies. Skilled in user research, data-driven decision-making, and UX/UI principles to guide product strategy. Comfortable using AI tools (Claude Code, Claude Design, Lovable) to prototype features, investigate bugs, and turn ideas into build-ready tickets, so you can move fast without requiring engineering support. Experience utilizing data analytics platforms, such as Metabase and Posthog, to pull your own data, to answer product and growth questions and diagnose problems. Knowledgeable with product marketing and GTM experience: positioning, launches, and customer-facing copy. Familiar with Stripe billing and payments flows. Familiar with customer support tools (Zendesk, Hubspot)
