About the role
Overview
The Learning and Talent Development Advisor plays a key role within the global Centre of Expertise, delivering and continuously improving learning and talent initiatives across Canada in alignment with regional and global priorities.
This role owns defined program streams and contributes to building scalable, high-impact solutions that support business growth and workforce capability needs including talent development initiatives related to performance, career development, and culture.
Working closely with Learning and Talent Development leads, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders across regions, the Advisor independently manages initiatives, solves challenges, and influences the evolution of programs to strengthen performance and organizational resilience.
Your role
Program ownership and delivery
Own the delivery and continuous improvement of talent development initiatives, including performance cycles, career development, and culture-building efforts. Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges. Adapt program plans, and communication based on evolving business needs and stakeholder input.
Insight generation and continuous Improvement
Analyze program data, feedback, and trends to generate actionable insights. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and learner experience. Identify and drive opportunities to streamline processes and scale delivery through digital solutions.
Stakeholder partnership and influence
Partner with HRBPs, business leaders, and global Centre of Expertise teams to align initiatives with business priorities Communicate program outcomes and insights clearly, influencing decisions and promoting adoption of improvements Build strong, credible relationships across a matrixed organization
Operational excellence & strategy contribution
Partner with Learning and Talent Development leads to deliver regional priorities and strategic initiatives. Drive high-quality execution across tracking, reporting, and governance, ensuring data integrity and scalable processes. Contribute insights to continuously improve programs, including advancing digital, AI, and global-aligned learning solutions.
Required
About you
5–7 years of experience in learning and talent development, HR programs, or a related field, or equivalent experience from other disciplines with transferable skills in program delivery, analysis, and stakeholder management. Demonstrated ability to manage programs or initiatives independently. Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations. Experience working in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with learning systems, reporting tools, and digital platforms.
Preferred
Experience within a global or shared services environment. Familiarity with Workday or comparable systems. Bilingual capability (English/French) is an asset Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $90,000 - $105,000 annually) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
