About the role
OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of MNC, the Project Lead plays a critical role in the planning and execution of new equipment installations, replacement projects, and supply chain optimization. This includes end-to-end coordination, from initial planning stages through implementation, by engaging all relevant stakeholders and working collaboratively with the vendors and other internal and external stakeholders.
The Project Lead will work closely with MNC leadership and staff, Biomed, MDRD, Professional Practice, IMT and the Redevelopment teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment within clinical environments. The role also involves coordinating across departments to maintain optimal inventory levels, manage timelines, mitigate corporate risk, andalign priorities with broader organizational needs.
EDUCATION

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Master’s degree (Business or Healthcare Administration) and healthcare related certifications are assets

Lean/Six-sigma and project management certifications are assets
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience in a clinical, hospital, or healthcare technology environment.
- Knowledge of medical equipment, clinical workflows, and terminology.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking and server environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and technical vendors.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is considered an asset
- Knowledge of all relevant legislative codes and regulations pertaining to the operation and
functionality of a health care facility.
- Knowledge of RTLS and asset
- Knowledge of safety regulations, Occupational Health and Safety act and WHMIS standards an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational/prioritization skills
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support effective team building and functioning.
- Good work and attendance record required.
