Reporting to the Director, Digital Experience, we are seeking for a Conversation Rate Optimization (CRO) advisor to lead and scale a best-in-class Conversion Rate Optimization practice on rona.ca.
This individual will be responsible for improving key conversion outcomes across the conversion funnel, including Conversion Rate (CVR), Add-to-Cart Rate (ATC), Revenue per session, etc. To achieve this, the role will improve conversion by driving desired customer behaviors, reducing friction, and translating these opportunities into measurable performance gains
Your role :
Act as the internal lead for the CRO program by demonstrating its business value and fostering a data-driven, experimentation-led culture. Lead the CRO program for the scope under their responsibility, ensuring stakeholder alignment and the timely delivery of high-impact initiatives. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, UX, and Analytics to identify and prioritize opportunities based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility. Act as the central point of coordination across experimentation streams, including both quick-win content optimizations (non-IT) and more complex product or technology-driven initiatives, ensuring progress across short- and long-term opportunities. Execute quick-win content optimizations within established user journeys through targeted content improvements and experimentation, focusing on key touchpoints such as channel landing pages, linking strategy, homepage, and category page content. Facilitate key CRO rituals: maintain testing backlogs, lead prioritization sessions monthly experiment reviews, performance readouts) to ensure alignment, accountability, and momentum. Conduct and/or support deeper analysis and user research when needed, while primarily focusing on translating insights into execution and business impact. In collaboration with digital analytics, monitor key performance indicators and track results through before-and-after performance analysis. Track Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance for visits to assess the evolution of customer experience across key attributes over time. Conduct monthly analysis of customer verbatims and implement an action plan to address and prioritize major pain points
The qualifications we are looking for :
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in eCommerce and/or retail with 1-2 year in CRO, growth, digital optimization or a related role. Experience with experimentation and AB tools such as Adobe target., Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to drive alignment and implement change. Comprehensive knowledge of strategies to enhance the user experience throughout the digital funnel. Experience working with web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Hotjar or Content Square. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Proficient in French and English, both oral and written (
