About the role

About Us Peak Performance Products is a fast-growing Canadian distribution company in the health, wellness, and promotional products industry. We operate a highly customized NetSuite environment supporting ERP, WMS, CRM, EDI, warehouse operations, reporting, and integrations across the business.

With approximately 80 users operating from a centralized distribution facility in Mississauga, we are looking for a business-minded operations leader who uses technology to solve real problems, someone who can own, optimize, and stabilize our systems environment because they deeply understand the business running on top of it.

The Role This is a business operations leadership role - not a technical administrator position.

We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on leader who thinks like a business operator first and a systems expert second. You bring deep experience in distribution and sales environments and understand how orders flow, how warehouses run, how sales teams work, and how finance closes the books. You use NetSuite as the tool to enable and improve those operations - not as an end in itself.

The ideal candidate has lived inside a distribution or sales-driven business, maybe as an operations manager, a business analyst, or an internal systems lead and has grown into owning the ERP. You know what it feels like when a pick is wrong, a PO doesn’t match, or a sales rep can’t see their pipeline. You fix those things because you understand the business, not just the system.

Key Responsibilities Department Leadership • Lead and manage the IT department, including internal staff and external contractors • Set team priorities, manage workloads, and align technology initiatives with company goals • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-departmental collaboration • Act as the primary point of contact for technology decisions and escalations across the organization • Develop and maintain SOPs for technology use and system management across all departments

NetSuite ERP & WMS Ownership • Own day-to-day administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of NetSuite ERP and WMS • Manage workflows, saved searches, roles and permissions, reporting, and system configuration • Troubleshoot operational and transactional issues across inventory, fulfillment, purchasing, finance, and sales • Oversee and coordinate customizations, integrations, and development initiatives with external consultants • Maintain system documentation and change management processes

Distribution & Warehouse Operations Support • Partner directly with warehouse and operations teams to improve fulfillment accuracy and efficiency • Support inventory management, cycle counts, picking and packing workflows, and operational reporting • Understand and troubleshoot high-SKU distribution challenges • Assist with process design, SOP development, and operational scalability

Business Systems & Integrations • Oversee ERP integrations including EDI, CRM, Adobe Commerce, shipping platforms, warehouse systems, and reporting tools • Identify and implement AI and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency • Evaluate and recommend new tools to support business growth and process improvement • Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors for infrastructure and IT operations support

Security & Endpoint Management • Oversee the organization's cybersecurity posture using Darktrace for AI-driven network threat detection and response • Manage CrowdStrike endpoint protection across all company devices, ensuring policies, alerts, and response procedures are maintained • Monitor security dashboards, review alerts, and coordinate incident response with relevant stakeholders • Ensure security tools are configured, up to date, and aligned with company risk tolerance and compliance requirements • Liaise with managed security vendors and escalate threats or vulnerabilities as appropriate

Reporting & Business Process Optimization • Build and validate operational and financial reports using saved searches and dashboards • Partner with leadership across sales, finance, and operations to improve system visibility and KPI tracking • Identify process gaps and propose scalable, practical business solutions • Support cross-departmental adoption of technology through clear communication and training

CRM & Sales Technology Support • Evaluate, configure, and support CRM tools to improve sales pipeline visibility and customer relationship management • Support integration between CRM, ERP, and eCommerce platforms • Assist the sales team with reporting, data quality, and system workflows

What We Are Looking For Must-Have Experience • Solid, practical NetSuite ERP experience (3 or more years) you don’t need to be a developer, but you must be able to administer, configure, and troubleshoot it confidently alongside an external consulting team • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay workflows • Meaningful experience working inside a distribution, wholesale, or sales-driven business - you understand how orders are won, picked, shipped, and invoiced, and what breaks when those processes fail • A track record of identifying operational problems before they escalate - you diagnose issues by understanding the business process first, then tracing it through the system • Understanding of NetSuite customizations, workflows, integrations, and reporting tools • Direct experience supporting sales organizations — understanding sales workflows, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and what sales teams need from their systems to do their jobs • Experience managing or leading an IT team or department • Familiarity with enterprise security platforms such as Darktrace, CrowdStrike, or similar tools • Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams

Strong Assets • Hands-on background in distribution operations or sales operations roles (operations manager, ops analyst, sales ops lead, or similar) before moving into systems — you understand the work because you’ve been close to it • WMS experience (RF-SMART or similar warehouse management systems) • EDI and third-party integration experience • SuiteScript or techno-functional NetSuite development knowledge • CRM configuration or eCommerce integration experience (Adobe Commerce, Shopify, or similar) • Experience with AI tools and their practical applications in business operations • Background supporting highly customized or complex NetSuite environments
