Overview Nurture is an email marketing agency that partners with creators, educators, wellness brands, authors, and online businesses to build high-performing email marketing programs. We help clients execute launches, newsletters, automations, and customer journeys while providing the operational support needed to keep marketing moving forward.
We're looking for an Email Marketing Manager who can confidently manage client relationships, oversee project execution, and coordinate a remote contractor-based team.

This role sits at the intersection of client communication, project management, and email marketing execution.
You will manage approximately 6–7 client accounts, ensuring projects move forward smoothly, deadlines are met, and clients feel supported throughout the process.
Success in this role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once. Our clients are busy founders, creators, and business owners. Priorities can shift quickly, launches may evolve, and occasional last-minute changes are part of the work.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, and helps keep projects moving forward without constant oversight.
Responsibilities Client Communication & Relationship Management Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients. Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up. Communicate project updates, timelines, requirements, and next steps. Follow up on approvals, assets, feedback, and outstanding deliverables. Anticipate potential roadblocks and proactively communicate solutions. Support clients through shifting priorities and evolving marketing initiatives. Maintain a high level of responsiveness during established working hours. Escalate client concerns, risks, opportunities, and resource needs to the CEO and Lead Strategist when needed.
Project Management Manage approximately 6–7 client accounts simultaneously. Coordinate deliverables across multiple projects, campaigns, and launches. Maintain and manage all client projects within Asana. Update internal and client-facing content calendars and project timelines. Ensure all deliverables move through the pipeline on schedule. Coordinate with copywriters, designers, and other contractors to ensure projects stay on track. Monitor contractor availability and planned time off to support effective project planning. Track project progress and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks. Ensure clients, contractors, and stakeholders have the information needed to execute successfully. Update and maintain project management automations as workflows evolve. Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements. Maintain project documentation and account organization standards. Email Marketing Execution Post campaigns for internal and client review. Implement client feedback and revision requests. Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns within email marketing platforms. Manage email marketing calendars and campaign scheduling. Support segmentation, tagging, and automation updates when needed. Make basic copy and design edits as required. Adapt campaigns and timelines when priorities shift or new opportunities arise. Ensure campaigns align with approved strategy and client objectives. Quality Assurance Conduct QA checks on all campaigns before deployment. Review campaigns on desktop and mobile devices. Verify formatting, links, images, personalization fields, and overall user experience. Ensure campaigns meet Nurture's quality standards. Perform final reviews prior to launch and deployment. Meetings, Reporting & Administrative Support Attend client meetings when possible to capture notes, action items, and project requirements. Review meeting recordings when attendance is not possible. Maintain organized documentation and meeting notes. Support client onboarding and account setup processes. Maintain and update SOPs as processes evolve and improve. Document new workflows, systems, and best practices for the team. Prepare and deliver a weekly Client Health Overview Loom to the CEO and Lead Strategist outlining project status, risks, wins, upcoming deadlines, client concerns, and support needed. Participate in bi-weekly check-ins with the CEO. Attend one monthly team strategy and operations meeting with the CEO and Lead Strategist. Support reporting preparation and campaign performance reviews.
Your Details 2+ years of experience in email marketing, account management, project management, or a related role. Experience working within an agency environment is strongly preferred. Experience using Asana or a similar project management platform. Experience working within email marketing platforms such as ConvertKit, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Kajabi, or similar. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously. Comfortable making basic copy and design edits. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
