The Role As our Marketing Specialist / Manager, you will be the driving force behind all our marketing initiatives. You will lead the department, steering both digital and traditional strategies to support company growth, boost customer acquisition, and maintain our strong brand identity. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends high-level strategy with creative execution. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead the Marketing Department, manage the marketing budget, and ensure alignment with company goals. Manage one direct report (Content Creator) to ensure brand alignment and high-quality execution. Agency & Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact and collaborate closely with external agencies and third-party vendors to execute digital and traditional campaigns efficiently. Multi-Channel Growth: Develop and implement robust growth strategies across SEM, SEO, and paid/organic social media to drive customer acquisition and increase conversions. Content Strategy & Optimization: Plan and oversee the content strategy for our website, email newsletters, and social media channels. Oversee the creation of optimized content, ensuring SEO best practices and using data for continuous improvement. Website Management: Oversee the maintenance, visual appeal, and performance of the company website, monitoring metrics and implementing user engagement improvements. Lifecycle & Email Marketing: Plan, segment, and execute targeted email marketing and automation campaigns, tracking performance to maximize ROI. Traditional & Print Marketing: Coordinate non-digital projects, overseeing the design, production, and installation of physical collateral (sample boards, brochures, flyers, banners, and posters). Events & Outreach: Plan and coordinate company presence at trade shows, marketing events, and community outreach activities. Sales Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to provide comprehensive marketing toolkits and ensure cohesive brand messaging. Proficient in utilizing AI marketing tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Jasper, Midjourney) to streamline content creation, SEO optimization, and workflow efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in marketing management, with a proven track record of managing multi-channel campaigns (experience in home services, construction, or solar is a major plus). Leadership Skills: Experience managing direct reports and successfully leading external agencies/vendors. Digital & Automation Savvy: Strong understanding of SEO, SEM (Google Ads), social media analytics, and marketing automation/email platforms—specifically Ortto, HubSpot, or similar tools. Analytical Mindset: Data-driven professional capable of analyzing metrics, measuring campaign ROI, and optimizing marketing budgets. Project Management: Ability to multitask, manage physical collateral production, event planning, and digital strategy simultaneously. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate smoothly across departments (Sales, Customer Service).
