About the role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Estimate costs and materials. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Recommend personnel actions. Read blueprints and drawings. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).
