Job Description: LTL Group has been providing heavy civil construction services in Northern Ontario with a dedicated team of knowledgeable and experienced staff. With our comprehensive range of services, we can provide integrated solutions for any project requirements. LTL Contracting is looking to hire a Site Supervisor Responsibilities Organize and coordinate day to day project operations and field staff Plan and schedule work with operations for available resources to meet client needs Ensure work is completed according to plans, standards and specifications Track and submit quantities for invoicing Proactively communicate and coordinate daily/as needed with GC/owner staff, suppliers and engineering re: scope of work, equipment needed to complete jobs and problem solve Trouble shoot field issues on-site to maintain workflow and meet deliverables Ensure sufficient data obtained and documented through life of the contract to substantiate contractor's progress and final payment certificates Obtain and maintain up to date and accurate utility locates Prepare job sheets for field staff Other duties as assigned by your senior manager Qualifications 5-10 years progressive experience in the heavy civil construction industry Previous supervisory experience Must be able to work independently and in a team Must have strong communication, time management, scheduling and negotiation skills Able to multi task and sustain productivity over long hours in a fast paced environment Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc. Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license Candidates must be open to working as per project requirements (weekends etc) and out of town when required Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: Ability to reliably commute to various project sites throughout Northwestern Ontario. Willingness to travel and stay out of town as required by project needs. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
