What’s In It for You $19.50/hour plus event gratuities Opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding hospitality company Mileage reimbursement when traveling between cities (if required) Employee discounts at Sandman Hotels, Moxies, Denny’s, Shark Club, Revelstoke Mountain Resorts, discounts in all Northland-affiliated brands, and various partner programs What You’ll Do Coordinate and oversee on-site event execution to deliver outstanding guest experiences Set up and break down event setup and prepare the room, including tables/chairs, A/V, catering buffet setups, and bar setups as needed Provide a warm welcome to guests and professional, efficient service throughout each event Serve food and beverages in an organized, timely manner. Supervise event support staff during service and delegate tasks as needed Serve as the main point of contact for guests during events, handling requests and resolving issues professionally Collaborate with Chef, Restaurant General Manager, and Event Manager through weekly planning meetings Manage guest inquiries, respond to emails, prepare quotes and invoices as required Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and quality control throughout each event What We’re Looking For Passion for hospitality and exceptional guest service Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Confident communicator who stays calm under pressure Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Physically able to be on your feet and assist with lifting tables and chairs Professional, positive, and energetic demeanor
