About the role

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Canada is seeking a talented, creative, and entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to join our exciting and highly collaborative team. The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in supporting the rapid growth of the Seasonal Events through leading the marketing, merchandising, and social media efforts for our key products and programs.

They will support creating a best-in-class customer experience through merchandising planning and implementation for our online storefronts, as well as the management of marketing-led programs. They will build, merchandise, and optimize customer “destinations”/landing pages on the Amazon.ca site, with the goal of engaging, inspiring, and converting customers and building affinity for Amazon Canada.

This individual will execute all Seasonal Events, such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Holiday Shop, across Amazon’s owned platforms, as well as develop plans to test with new platforms (e.g. TikTok) and campaigns. They will dive deep to gather evolving brand, customer, and channel insights to inform strategy; they will partner with offsite traffic team for creators, social, outbound, search and more to drive customer engagement and conversion.

The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize in a fast-changing business environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all Seasonal Event campaigns. Working with internal stakeholders to identify key business opportunities, trends, and selection to excite and delight customers.

  • Ideate and test with new platforms and campaigns. Use critical understanding of historical data, effectiveness, creatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for updating on-site content and driving onsite traffic drivers

  • Responsible for working with partner teams for offsite traffic drivers.

  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on the state of initiatives and goals assigned.

  • Manage and report out on projects, status, and work with teams to remove any project blockers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
  • Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.

  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
