About the role

Wuxly is a Canadian leader in advanced textile integration - pairing design, pattern engineering, supply chain, and scalable production to deliver for defence and government clients.

We operate as the commercial and operational bridge between breakthrough textile technologies and end users. Our work spans mission-ready solutions for Defence and Tactical operations, extreme cold weather systems, and a consumer line that holds itself to the same performance standard.

Our products are executed under ISO 9001/14001 discipline and proven in the world's harshest environments. We are growing - and we are building the team and content infrastructure to match.

The Junior Content Coordinator supports content execution and narrative consistency across Wuxly's channels. You are not setting strategy - you are learning how to translate it, and eventually own it. Narrative direction, messaging priorities, and PR strategy come from Wuxly leadership. Your job is to turn those inputs into clean, consistent, on-time content.

Beyond digital content, this role puts you in the room - attending industry events like CANSEC, supporting product marketing material development, and building hands-on experience with how a defence-positioned company actually communicates. You will be given immediate responsibility and direct feedback. If you want to build your skills fast, this is the environment for it.

** This is a full-time, hybrid role. In addition to remote work, in-person work is to take place at Wuxly’s office location in Mississauga (Dixie Rd. & Courtneypark Dr.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the approved content calendar - own your assigned items end to end
  • Draft LinkedIn content for the CEO (James) under direct direction, incorporating feedback quickly
  • Help publish and maintain the content calendar - flag conflicts, track deadlines, stay ahead of the schedule
  • Repurpose PR releases, announcements, and interviews into LinkedIn posts, short-form copy, and channel-ready assets
  • Translate long-form inputs - articles, briefs, talking points - into tight, professional short-form content
  • Support campaign and event content delivery on deadline
  • Maintain content files, folders, and versioning - keep the system clean and usable
  • Track basic content metrics (LinkedIn performance, engagement) and report accurately
  • Coordinate with design on asset requests - clear briefs, realistic timelines
  • Support development of product marketing materials - capability one-pagers, spec sheets, procurement-facing copy, and campaign assets
  • Attend and support defence and industry events - including CANSEC 2026 (Ottawa, May 27-28) - assisting with on-site content capture, social coverage, and post-event amplification
  • Grow into broader responsibilities as trust and capability develop

Skills And Qualifications We’re Looking For:
You write well: Clear sentences, good instincts, knows what a professional tone sounds like - even without formal experience to prove it

You're organised by default: You track your own work, meet deadlines, don't need to be chased, and flag problems before they become surprises

You're interested in serious work: Defence, government, manufacturing, B2B - not a consumer lifestyle brand. You find it interesting, not intimidating.

Some content experience helps: A student newspaper, brand social account, club newsletter, or personal project - anything showing intentional content creation

You take feedback fast: Can absorb direct direction, apply it immediately, and not take it personally - this is a non-negotiable

LinkedIn isn't foreign to you: You understand the platform professionally - what reads well, what doesn't - and use it with judgment

Startup comfort: Okay with ambiguity and lean teams. You'd rather build the playbook than inherit it.

We hire for values first. These aren't slogans - they describe how we work and who fits here:

Act Like an Owner: Take accountability. Don't wait to be told.

Humble: Confident without arrogance. Open to feedback.

Drive Innovation: Find a better way, even when the old way works.

Row Together: Team output over individual credit.

Unequivocal Excellence: High standard. No exceptions.
