We're hiring a Project Coordinator at Stein & Mortel and we're looking for someone who's serious about the craft of getting things done.

Stein & Mortel advises founders, operators, and investors on real estate-driven expansion and the systems required to scale physical businesses. We partner with leadership teams on site strategy, lease and capital structuring, buildout planning, and launch execution working across retail, restaurant, and commercial office environments.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Montreal. You'd be embedded in live projects from day one, keeping timelines tight, documentation organized, and stakeholders aligned across landlords, vendors, consultants, and clients.

What you'll do:

✦ Track project milestones and maintain schedules across multiple active mandates ✦ Coordinate communication with external partners, landlords, vendors, trades, consultants ✦ Prepare status reports, meeting notes, and decision logs ✦ Support CAD redlines and document control on buildout projects ✦ Assist with data collection, analysis, and client-facing presentations ✦ Help embed process and governance across projects to support long-term performance

What we're looking for:

✦ Experience coordinating projects in retail, restaurant, or commercial office environments ✦ CAD proficiency — you can open a drawing, mark it up, and turn comments around fast ✦ Bilingual (French/English) — we work across Montreal and beyond ✦ Strong written communication and attention to detail ✦ Comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-moving boutique environment ✦ Background in engineering, business, project management, real estate, or equivalent experience
