About The Opportunity

 

Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in delivering impactful technical solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, owning the design and coordination of small to mid-sized projects. You’ll collaborate across multiple teams, influence solution design, and ensure successful delivery from concept to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders and make a measurable impact across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into clear, actionable technical requirements and user stories • Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of small to mid-level technical projects • Perform business and systems gap analysis, and build detailed workflows • Facilitate meetings, lead discussions, and drive consensus with stakeholders • Coordinate all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timelines and objectives are met • Document project scope, requirements, and updates using standardized templates • Analyze cross-functional impacts across reporting, operations, finance, product, and marketing teams • Assess and communicate project goals, benefits, and ROI/LOE estimates • Identify and document system, business, and development dependencies • Work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams • Demonstrate understanding of Sabre including booking, shopping, faring, PNR, and queue history • Apply knowledge of systems such as OBTs, RED apps, profiles, back office, and reporting tools • Utilize independent judgment to lead projects with minimal supervision • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

 

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role • Strong experience translating business requirements into technical documentation (User Stories, BRDs) • Experience with project coordination and delivery in a technical environment • Solid understanding of ROI and level of effort (LOE) estimation • Knowledge of Sabre system including bookings, shopping, and PNR management • Understanding of Corporate Technology systems (OBTs, RED apps, reporting, finance systems, etc.) • Ability to analyze cross-functional impacts across multiple business areas • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote) • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments

• Multilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Ability to identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and automation solutions to improve business processes, enhance user experiences, and drive operational efficiencies.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $73,000-$82,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
