The Opportunity We are a young, fully AS9100 + ISO 9001 certified additive manufacturing facility based in Edmonton that is ready to scale fast. We are looking for an Aggressive Business Creation Manager who will both hunt new revenue and strategically build new business opportunities and revenue streams for TXI across Aerospace, Energy, and Data Centres / Major Projects. Your Role You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and launching new business opportunities while driving aggressive revenue growth. This includes heavy outbound business development combined with strategic work such as market & competitive analysis, building business cases, and shaping new service offerings in collaboration with engineering, operations, and security teams. Key Responsibilities: Aggressively hunt and close new accounts in Energy, Aerospace, and Data Centres/Major Projects Conduct market research, build strong business cases, and develop go-to-market strategies Get TXI onto approved vendor lists and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities Build and nurture relationships with key clients and partners Support negotiations, proposal development, and cross-functional delivery of new initiatives Track performance metrics and continuously refine strategies to drive growth Compensation: First 3 months: $5,500 per month base commission + percentage of sales After proven track record: Competitive base salary + very aggressive uncapped commission (top performers targeting $180K–$280K+ CAD in year one) $3,000 referral bonus if your referral is hired and stays 90 days Vehicle/travel allowance, full benefits, expenses, phone & laptop Qualifications Experience in business development, entrepreneurial venture creation, or product commercialization, with the ability to turn concepts into viable business models. Strong skills in market research, financial analysis, and strategic planning to evaluate opportunities and build data-driven business cases. Background in technology, manufacturing, or engineering-focused industries; familiarity with advanced manufacturing or additive manufacturing is an asset. Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Demonstrated project management abilities, including organizing initiatives, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional deliverables. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are beneficial. Comfort working on-site or hybrid in a secure, innovation-driven environment in Canada, with a commitment to high ethical standards and compliance with security requirements.
