Who we need Reporting to the Project Management Team Lead, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Environmental Services team in Mississauga. As our new Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing environmental testing projects from initial request through final delivery. Acting as the bridge between clients, laboratory teams, and internal operations groups, you will ensure projects move forward efficiently, deadlines are met, and clients receive an exceptional experience throughout the process. You will work closely with laboratory operations, data entry, and technical teams to understand client requirements, coordinate testing activities, communicate results, and resolve issues as they arise. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This existing role is a permanent, full time role based in our Mississauga office. During onboarding and training, the successful candidate will work onsite five days per week to build a strong understanding of our laboratory operations, systems, and processes. Following the onboarding period, the role will transition to a hybrid work model with a minimum expectation of two days per week onsite. You will become the trusted point of contact for clients, helping them navigate environmental testing requirements, answering questions, solving challenges, and ensuring they receive an exceptional experience at every stage of their project. You have post-secondary education in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Experience working in environmental, laboratory, pharmaceutical, industrial, or other science-based environments is an asset. The organizational skills. You can manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously without losing sight of the details. You are highly organized, proactive, and able to adapt quickly when priorities change. The communication skills. You can build credibility with clients and collaborate effectively with laboratory, operations, and technical teams. You are comfortable asking questions, sharing information, and navigating complex situations with professionalism and tact. The growth mindset. You are curious, coachable, and eager to learn. You bring experience in a client-facing, project coordination, account management, customer success, or project management role. Experience supporting environmental, laboratory, scientific, or technical services projects is considered a strong asset. Compensation This posting is for an existing vacancy The salary range for this role is $23-25 per hour. Our salary ranges reflect the range of skills and experience required for the posted position. The final offer amount for this role will depend on geographical region, applicable experience, internal equity, and the skillset of the candidate.
