About the role
- Oversee, direct, coach, train, and mentor project team members
- Effectively communicate with construction site teams and subcontractors to ensure that performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met
- Collaborate with the project team in finding solutions to potential problems, identifying
risks, work interferences and schedule conflicts
- Work in partnership with clients and other site contractors to ensure all parties are
aligned with the project requirements
- Design and implement recovery plan if required
- Develop and maintain strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders
- Site reviews
- Task Issue assignments and submit field reports – Plangrid (opening and closing) Autodesk Build
- On site measurements – service, as needed
- Installer organization, timeline for install and schedule follow up
- Giving Production requirements (SNCR) for what is required on site
- Internal & External engineer report reviews and follow up
- Create and maintain a culture of Safety First, leading by example and holding our site
teams and site partners accountable
- Service approval and sign off for extras
- Equipment requests for special installation
- Shop drawings reviews before engineer sign off
- Site meeting as required by customer
- Works with the Project Manager and Site Safety Manager to ensure implementation of
Toro Aluminum’s safety program and adherence to all safety requirements
- Follow up with Third party engineer reports
**Qualifications:**Education:
Post secondary education in related field or equivalent professional work experience
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in field supervision
- 2-5 years’ experience in the Railings/Construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, methods, and procedures
Skills:
- Ability to prioritize workload and coordinate multiple aspects of a construction project
- Understanding of contract language
- In depth knowledge of and application of safety, environmental principles, procedures, and legislation
- Ability to interface effectively with key stakeholders and clients, including leading site meetings with the customers, consultants, and internal employees
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills, problem solving abilities and professional judgement
- Knowledge of virtual construction software and tools
- Knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually
