The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks paid, 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks paid to rest.

Future challenges
Under the supervision of the senior engineer, the construction coordinator would be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conduct site visits to monitor mining construction work.
- Coordinate construction activities with contractors and site teams.
- Develop weekly work schedules.
- Develop and monitor monthly schedules.
- Prepare and track equipment orders.
- Manage inventories of construction materials and equipment.
- Make changes to and update construction plans.
- Coordinate mining construction projects.
- Monitor the progress of work and adhere to schedules.
- Identify and resolve construction issues in collaboration with stakeholders
Requirements
- Hold a university degree or technical diploma in mining
- Have at least 8 years of relevant work experience or equivalent;
- Good knowledge of MS Office software
- Good knowledge of Deswik and AutoCAD is a plus
- A valid driver’s license and a general explosive handling permit are required.
- Mining Modules 1-2-3-4-5-7
- Due to frequent interactions with English-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and improve our internal communications.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
