About the role
The Brand and Marketing Strategist is a visionary marketing professional who drives high-level strategy and oversees major brand and marketing initiatives. This role develops and implements strategic marketing plans, ensures brand consistency and leads large-scale projects and campaigns. Working closely with the Creative Director, the position serves as a key advisor on branding, audience engagement and market positioning, aligning marketing efforts with organizational goals.
This position typically works 37.5 hours per week and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and coordinate brand strategies that align with organizational objectives
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials, campaigns and channels
- Analyze market trends and audience insights to refine brand positioning and strengthen engagement
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment to support organizational priorities
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop integrated marketing campaigns and digital content strategies
- Implement and maintain workflows that support effective execution across the Brand and Marketing team
- Partner with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with enterprise and program goals
- Develop strategic marketing tactics and key messages tailored to diverse audiences
- Evaluate campaign performance leveraging reporting and analytics and continuously refine marketing approaches
- Lead large-scale marketing projects, including campaigns, events and brand positioning initiatives
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors, designers, developers and consultants
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, deliverables and performance outcomes
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and aligned with strategic objectives
- Provide strategic marketing expertise and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders
- Delegate operational marketing activities within Brand and Marketing team members while maintaining oversight of timelines and strategic alignment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic marketing, branding, digital marketing, or related roles

Experience working in the non-profit sector, fundraising environments, or mission-driven organizations
