

Sr. Coordinator, Marketing & Sales Support
About the role
What you will do: The Sr. Coordinator is part of the team responsible for supporting the successful distribution of every Cineplex Pictures release. This position is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and measurement of all integrated marketing campaigns. In addition to their primary marketing duties, this role is also responsible for assisting the Distribution team with sales support along with project work as assigned. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto. Responsibilities: Marketing In conjunction with the Head of Marketing, prepare and execute all marketing plans and briefs related to features releases, and provide guidance to publicity and promotions teams. Plans include exhibitor marketing, social media and online strategy, external and traditional paid media buys, partnerships and promotions. Work with creative agencies/vendors to create/localize all marketing materials, including making creative recommendations to Head of Marketing based on sound marketing tactics, approving all creative, and trafficking approved assets to all vendors. Maintain excellent relations with exhibition partners while providing regularly updated assets to promote our movies in theatres. Support Head of Marketing by acting as an administrative point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of information, approved documents and assets. Track budgets and spends to support the creation of post-mortem, ROI reports. Responsible for the weekly Cineplex Pictures newsletter to external stakeholders. Manage theatrical trailer placement requests in conjunction with the Head of Distribution. Sales Support Responsible for the regular reporting of box office data and updating box office reporting software daily. Communicate with theatre owners to retrieve any late or missing box office reports. Provide invoicing based on film rental settlements to Cineplex Pictures customers. Booking and delivery of feature film and trailer materials with Canadian provincial classification boards while providing accurate reporting of location counts. Maintain internal records of all provincial ratings, certificate counts and applicable charges. Preparation and submission of specialty format (IMAX, etc) box office results reports on a weekly basis. What You Will Need: College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration. 1-3 years of experience in the Film or entertainment industry. Experience in relationship management skills with multiple stakeholders. Experience coordinating integrated campaigns with cross functional teams. Experience using integrated marketing strategy and tools necessary to support the team in launching a successful campaign. Ability to develop and execute creative and media plans at a tactical level with flexibility and efficiency. Clear understanding of the media landscape, including traditional, digital, social and experiential. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail when writing, editing and/or building out documents for various audiences.
