Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, on-site role located in Surrey, BC, responsible for leading all technology initiatives at Dhindsa Travel Ltd. This role oversees software and product development activities, ensuring that internal systems and customer-facing platforms are efficient, secure, and aligned with business goals. The CTO will define and execute IT strategy, guide the design and architecture of technology solutions, and collaborate with leadership to support growth and operational excellence. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing technology projects, mentoring technical team members, evaluating new tools and vendors, and ensuring adherence to best practices in security, reliability, and compliance. The CTO will also work closely with operations and customer service teams to enhance the digital experience for clients and streamline internal workflows. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Software Development skills, with experience building and maintaining scalable applications or platforms. Candidates should possess proven Project Management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and delivering technology initiatives on time and within scope. Candidates should possess expertise in IT Strategy, with a track record of aligning technology roadmaps with organizational objectives. Candidates should possess solid Architecture skills, including designing secure, reliable, and maintainable system and application architectures. Candidates should possess experience in Product Development, particularly in defining requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and iterating based on user feedback. Advanced leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop multidisciplinary technical teams. Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance best practices relevant to customer-facing digital services. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in the travel, hospitality, or service industry is an asset. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
